What does SPAPN do-

The Society of Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurses is a non profit organization fostering excellence in psychiatric advanced practice nursing. We advocate for high quality professional care to patients and families in the community.

We aide in promoting professional development through continuing education and mentoring. We offer conferences and provide forms of networking for professionals in the mental health field. We continue to aide in enhancing communication and professional collaboration among healthcare providers.

Most importantly we serve as patient advocates and help ensure better mental healthcare for the citizens of New Jersey. We also help provide mental health care access for patients

We continue to educate patients regarding issues on mental health and engage in health care policy advocacy for patient care needs in mental health.
